100 Thieves cruise past Cloud9 to advance to cs_summit 6 playoffs

100 Thieves offered Cloud9 little reprieve in the Group B winners' match, taking wins on Vertigo (16-7) and Train (16-6) to secure a spot in the playoffs of cs_summit 6 North America.

The Australian roster made short work of Cloud9 in a two-map series, coasting through Vertigo before demolishing on their opponent's pick of Train to advance to the playoffs of cs_summit 6 North America. Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's troops will have a second chance to secure a spot in the playoffs out of Group B in a rematch against Gen.G at 00:00 .

Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek got Cloud9 started on the right foot on Vertigo, finding three frags on the B defense to help his side to a 2-0 start. Doubles from Aaron "AZR" Ward and Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad gave 100 Thieves their first, with Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas clutching a 1vs2 in the first true gun round to put his team in control. The 22-year-old rifler continued to secure multi-kills as 100 Thieves pushed onward to an 8-3 lead, but Cloud9 kept themselves in the running as they showed a more aggressive face to trail by a single round heading into the side swap.

Liazz was the driving force on Vertigo early on for 100 Thieves

Cloud9's comeback effort at the end of the first half was all for naught as Justin "jks" Savage took over on the defense for 100 Thieves, dismantling Cloud9's attempts to enter bombsites round after round. His 3.12 CT side rating while averaging 190 damage per round kept Cloud9 at bay for the remainder of the map as 100 Thieves secured eight rounds straight to close out their own map pick 16-7.

Cloud9's fate took a grim turn on Train as Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai stepped up to the plate with his AWP, combining with the rifles of Liazz and jks to present a stalwart defense against Cloud9's T side. Only three rounds went the way of the American-South African roster in the first half, two courtesy of triple kill rounds from Ian "motm" Hardy and Sonic, with 100 Thieves wasting little time in closing out the series following the side swap for a 16-6 map win.

100 Thieves have potential, they just need more time. Cloud9 needs to get rid of JT asap. They also lack chemistry. Maybe changing motm is not a bad idea to.

i think the roster still good no need change , just bad perfomance from cloud9 . cloud 9 can beat gen.g and EG like books if they not underperfoming.
