Heroic move on in cs_summit 6 lower bracket over North

Heroic comfortably took down North in a two-map series (Dust2 16-5, Train 16-10) to progress in the lower bracket of cs_summit 6.

The two Danish teams faced off with their tournament lives on the line in the first round of the lower bracket, where Heroic looked a step above their Danish rivals across the series. Casper "cadiaN" Møller's troops will look to continue their great all-round performance in the next round of the lower bracket when they will battle the loser of fnatic and BIG.

North kicked off the Danish derby on their map pick of Dust2, where a CT pistol victory gave Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen’s squad an early lead. Heroic snatched the following round from North’s grasp to take control of proceedings and secure a seven-round success, with Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen and René "TeSeS" Madsen consistently dealing damage on the Terrorist side. A Kristoffer "Kristou" Aamand AWP triple kill doubled his team’s score, but Heroic continued to dictate the pace of the half to head into the break at a commanding 13-2 scoreline.

A much-needed second half pistol went in favour of North as they strung rounds together for the first time, but a double AWP setup down mid from Heroic soon ended the T’s three-round streak. Johannes "b0RUP" Borup won out a 1v1 clutch in the next to put his side on map point and the magic number of sixteen rounds swiftly followed as cadiaN’s squad closed out the map 16-5, with four Heroic players sitting at over 90 ADR at the conclusion.

cadiaN and co. outclassed North on Dust2

Despite a poor showing on Dust2, North kept up their 100% pistol round winrate as the matchup headed to Train thanks to a René "cajunb" Borg quad kill, but the 3-0 start was quickly interrupted by Heroic, who went on to claim seven out of the next eight rounds to take the lead. In the final few rounds, the MSL-led side managed to narrow the score difference to just one at the half switch, with cajunb winning out a 1v1 in the last round.

Now on the CT side, Heroic successfully claimed their first pistol win of the series to kick off the defence and the subsequent round, however, North responded with a double of their own to keep hot on their heels. Every time North closed the gap, Heroic put their foot on the gas to pull further ahead, with numerous opening kills at the hands of cadiaN vital to their success. At 14-9, Heroic looked primed to hit map and series point, but a phenomenal 1v3 clutch from Kristou handed his team a lifeline. However, Kristou’s heroic effort proved futile as Heroic instantly replied with two dominant rounds to take the map 16-10, and the series 2-0, to move on in the lower bracket.

I honestly thought Heroic would suck without es3tag. I'm glad I was wrong.

I guess Teses deserves a lot of credit for performing from the getgo

Yeah, I've been following him since a while and he's a Crack for sure, which is why I thought he'd be kinda wasted in Heroic, but they seem to blend perfectly.

Considering the money and ressources that North have, it's so embaressing constantly doing so badly. How can such a wellfinanced org consistently underperform? In any other sports the staff and players would've been kicked long ago with those kind of results.
