VIE.gg CS:GO Legend Series announced with ~$56,500 prize pool
The tournament will feature 12 European teams that will compete online from August 31 - September 13.
The sixth edition of the Legend Series, which was won by Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe's Red Reserve and Jacek "MINISE" Jeziak's PRIDE in former iterations, is back with their largest prize pool yet thanks to the title sponsor of the event, VIE.gg.

"We're excited to play a role in providing a platform for smaller teams to compete for prize money," commented Magnus Leppaniemi, VP of Marketing and Head of Esports at Esports Entertainment Group, the tournament organizer, making it clear that they aim for tier 2 teams with event. "While the largest esports teams earned tens of millions of dollars in prize money last year, there are hundreds of smaller teams that get excluded from the flagship competitions. The VIE.gg CS:GO Legend Series is our first effort at working to fill this void, and we look forward to getting involved in more events like this moving forward."
The action will take place on August 31 - September 13, with the first 11 days reserved for the "regular season", where every team will play a match per day and win points, as well as €250 for every win. After that, the top-8 teams will be found, with the single-elimination BO3 bracket following on the last three days.
The ~$56,500 prize pool (€50,000) will be distributed as follows:
1. ~$17,000
2. ~$7,350
3-4. ~$3,400
5-8. ~$1,700
