Perfect World Asia League Summer playoffs set to start

A match between Invictus and D13 will kick off the playoff stage of the second Regional Major Ranking event for the Asian region, where TYLOO, ViCi, and TIGER are also looking for high finishes.

TYLOO topped the group stage of PAL Summer, finishing it with eight wins from nine games, and is heading into the playoffs of the summer RMR event as the favorite, boasting a dominant 22W-2L map record over the past month. The Chinese powerhouse will face Love "havoK" Paras's Divine Vendetta in the quarter finals, which start on Friday, and are looking good to continue their run in the single-elimination playoffs on Saturday against the winners of TIGER - Beyond.

erkaSt's TIGER are currently top of the Asia RMR standings

In the upper half of the single-elimination BO3 playoff bracket, Invictus will face off against D13, while ViCi, the second-highest ranked team at the event, is set to take on Lucid Dream in what could be the squad's last match under the organization. As was announced earlier this week, the Thai squad featuring Thotsaphon "cbbk" Suphatthanaphalaphon will be parting ways with Lucid Dream shortly.

After four quarter-finals on Friday and two semi-finals on Saturday, the winner of the Perfect World Asia League Summer 2020 will be decided on Sunday, at 14:00 , in a BO3 grand final.
