Giants confirm obj return
The Portuguese AWPer will once again represent the Spanish organisation after a seven-month tenure in early 2018.
Giants have completed the signing of Francisco "obj" Ramos, the Spanish organisation announced on Saturday. The 24-year-old joins the team on a free transfer after being released by OFFSET, who did not want to stand in the way of the player's desire to continue his career elsewhere.
obj is no stranger to Giants, having represented the organisation between January and July 2018. During that period, the team attended Moche XL Esports — beating Tempo Storm and taking a map off HellRaisers — and won Master League Portugal Season 1 and the Superliga Orange Finals.
This signing leaves Giants with only one place left to fill after the team had been depleted to three players following the departures of Bruno "BLOODZ" Mourão and Renato "renatoohaxx" Gonçalves. According to a recent report by Fraglíder, the final piece of the puzzle will be Rui "RIZZZ" Lima — who himself is a former member of Giants.
The Portuguese team, who will be competing in the European closed qualifier for FunSpark ULTI, the $300,000 Chinese LAN tournament that will be hosted by CGA and 5EPlay, currently have the following roster:
