GamerLegion part ways with Gux as he leaves esports, sign ashhh as new coach
Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl has left GamerLegion after deciding to pursue a career outside of esports, with the organization finding his replacement in Ashley "ash" Battye.
Just five months after getting his first coaching position, the former fnatic veteran decided to pursue a career in engineering after finishing his studies earlier this year. "My coaching and gaming career is sadly coming to an end," Gux stated. "I finished my engineering studies roughly two months ago and I will continue moving down that path."
Since the 31-year-old Swede joined the organization, GamerLegion only boasted a full lineup for less than a month. Less than two weeks after his addition, the former squad at the time featuring Dennis "dennis" Edman, William "draken" Sundin, Fredrik "freddieb" Buö, Hampus "hampus" Poser, and Alfred "RuStY" Karlsson disbanded, and the organization remained teamless until mid-July.

The team was almost completely revamped, with only RuStY remaining from the previous roster, joined by another Swede in Sean "eraa" Knutsson, as well as former HellRaisers member Patrik "Zero" Žúdel and British duo William "mezii" Merriman and Adam "Adam9130" Ahmad.
The majority of the team now shifts to a British core with the signing of the new coach, ash, who previously stood behind Adam9130 and mezii in Vexed for close to a year until mid-April.
GamerLegion's full lineup looks as follows:
Alfred "RuStY" Karlsson
Sean "eraa" Knutsson
Patrik "Zero" Žúdel
William "mezii" Merriman
Adam "Adam9130" Ahmad
Ashley "ash" Battye (coach)
The team will make their official debut with the new coach on Friday at 12:00 when GamerLegion will kick off their campaign in Eden Arena: Malta Vibes Cup 6 with an opening match of Group D against Syman.
