Official: Kjaerbye rounds out FaZe roster
FaZe have confirmed the signing of Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye to their roster.
The 22-year-old joins the European squad after spending the last month exploring his options as a free agent, having decided to part ways with North at the beginning of the official player break following a two years long spell in the F.C. Copenhagen-owned organization.
He effectively replaces Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, who played with FaZe on a stand-in/trial basis from May to July. The Lithuanian's departure was confirmed on Monday, when he was announced as MOUZ' "developmental" sixth player.

By joining FaZe, Kjaerbye will hope to return to the highest level of play on a consistent basis for the first time since early 2018, when he decided to leave Astralis in an infamous shock move to North.
Since then, the 2017 ELEAGUE Major MVP has had ups and downs but largely remained one of North's best performers across most of the team's iterations in 2018-2020, averaging a 1.08 rating on LAN in that period and putting up some standout showings at tournaments such as ECS Season 7 Finals and the StarLadder Major.
Kjaerbye's debut with FaZe will take place on August 19 in the European part of ESL One Cologne. The European mixture will first take on Heroic in the opening round of Group B, which also features three other top-ten teams in Vitality, G2, and fnatic.
FaZe's updated lineup is the following:
Håvard "rain" Nygaard
Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
Marcelo "coldzera" David
Helvijs "broky" Saukants
Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye
Janko "YNk" Paunović (coach)
