HS parts ways with Nordavind
The Norwegian team ranked 66th in the world is making another roster change, cutting ties with the Estonian rifler.
Nordavind has had ten different players represent them in official matches in the last three months, with Niels-Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen's departure in August and Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel's health issues seeing the team pick up different stand-in and trial players. The team is now down to three full-time members, looking to rebuild their roster before the end of 2020.
In a TwitLonger published on September 19, HS explained that 2020 with Nordavind felt like a copy of his stint with Tempo Storm in 2018: "[We] couldn't build the roster we originally wanted, RUBINO was injured and stepped away from the lineup which meant that the roles were messed up again, we are missing crucial pieces".
The 23-year-old added that he took on too many responsibilities, trying to lead a "dysfunctional lineup", with frustration building and, in the end, the Estonian becoming a part of the problem as well.
Still, he states that his work ethic further improved and is individually on point, before concluding: "CS is my life. I am prepared. I am ready to see that my dreams come true. My only goal is to become the best with my team, nothing else matters".
