DreamHack Open Fall groups announced
The RMR tournament will begin in two weeks, starting with a double-elimination group stage.
DreamHack revealed on Wednesday the groups for the upcoming DreamHack Open Fall, the last Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournament of the year. The 16 participating teams have been split into four double-elimination, best-of-three groups, from which the top three will progress to the playoffs.
All eyes will be on Group B, featuring three top-10 teams in Heroic, G2 and Astralis. The trio will be widely expected to finish ahead of Endpoint, who were one of the surprise packages of the closed qualifier after beating MOUZ twice. Finn "karrigan" Andersen's troops face a difficult task to make it out of Group A, which also features Vitality, fnatic and OG.

Current world No.5 BIG should cruise through what looks to be a fairly straightforward Group C, which also contains FaZe, GODSENT and SAW. Group D looks to be wide open: featuring ENCE — who will field Sami "xseveN" Laasanen because of Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen's VAC ban —, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Sprout and North, it is the only one without a top-10 side.
Below you can find the groups:
DreamHack Open Fall will take place beween October 15 and 25, with $115,000 up for grabs in addition to RMR points. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs' upper bracket, while the third-placed sides will fight for survival in the lower bracket.
The winner of the tournament will also claim a spot at the IEM Global Challenge, the $500,000 LAN tournament that ESL will hold in Cologne between December 15 and 20.
