XigN joins NG
Thai organisation NG has announced that it has completed the signing of South Korean player Hyun-Pyo "XigN" Lee, who links up with his former BTRG teammate ImpressioN after the duo left the Chinese organisation citing a breach of contract.
XigN, who made his name with MVP PK and played several Big Events with the Korean squad, including ESL One Cologne 2019 and the 2018 and 2019 iterations of IEM Sydney, averaged a 1.17 rating during his nine-month stint with BTRG, who allegedly owe three months' salaries to players and staff.
More players are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks as the team hope to be up and running for the IEM Beijing-Haidan qualifier starting later this month. NG hope that this project will mark the beginning of a new era in Asian Counter-Strike and that squad will be able to "rival the best of the best in Asia or even the world stages in the coming year."
