Among those who advanced was a new mixture playing under the name Poland, featuring some of the best available talent from the Slavic country, including Paweł "byali" Bieliński, Karol "rallen" Rodowicz, and Patryk "Sidney" Korab, as well as Paweł "innocent" Mocek and Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak, who are currently sitting on the bench in MAD Lions and AGO, respectively.
Meanwhile, c0ntact, who recently secured the services of Rigon "rigoN" Gashi, got their first taste of success in a while as they scraped through the open qualifier after beating teams like KPI and Entropiq.
The qualification to the closed part is a notable milestone for the Czech side Sinners as well as the Turkish squad 9INE, who are now the closest they have ever been to participation in an event of the magnitude of DreamHack Masters Winter after they failed to make it far in qualifiers for tournaments such as IEM Beijing-Haidan and Flashpoint 2.
