MIBR defeat Envy at Flashpoint 2
Envy finish Group B in fourth place with a chance to advance to the last-chance qualifier, while MIBR will take on FORZE for a spot in the playoffs.
The new-look MIBR managed to fend off Envy's recently overhauled squad in a close three-map affair, putting the Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić-led side's fate in Flashpoint 2 in uncertainty as they finish last in the "Demo-lition men" group with two maps won across the two series. Only one of the three fourth-placed teams will advance to the last-chance qualifier, with that team determined based on the maps or rounds they won in the group stage.
MIBR came out of the gates with a win on their pick, Nuke, in a difficult affair that relied in large part on fantastic late-game impact plays from Alencar "trk" Rossato. The first half was far from ideal for the Brazilians, who began on the T side and ended up down 6-9 by halftime despite looking like the better team in the opening stretch of the map, and they had to put together a strong defense to come back.

MIBR did just that after a back-and-forth start to the second half, in which trk won a 1v1 clutch in the pistol and went on to add a 1v2 to his name later on alongside two more multikills, spearheading the way while Envy struggled to close out most late-round scenarios.
For all the work he did on the second map, trk went missing altogether on Overpass, and it was left to Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe to make up for the gap as he tried his hardest to offset the team's inexperience on the map to no avail. Although the 28-year-old kept delivering, Envy maintained the pressure on MIBR, being the first to reach double digits on the back of a close first half. After a grueling affair, the map ended up going all the way to the end of regulation, where LEGIJA & co. prevailed in the last two rounds to force the decider.
The Brazilians clinched the series on Inferno, where good starts to both halves and some clutch play from kNgV- were the deciding factors, as the in-game leader led the way with 25 kills to ensure victory for the Brazilian squad.
