mithR joins mousesports as head coach*

The former Renegades coach joins mousesports in the middle of their campaign in IEM Beijing-Haidan.

Update: Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg will not be eligible to join mousesports in their Group B upper bracket encounter against Astralis, as his addition was submitted to the organizers less than eight hours before the start of the match, which is the required deadline for roster adjustments.

mousesports has signed mithR as its new head coach, the German organization announced on Saturday. The 30-year-old has been transferred to the European side from Renegades following a four-month tenure with the Australian squad.

mithR becomes mousesports' new coach

The Dane comes in to fill the vacant spot left after the departure of his compatriot, Allan "Rejin" Petersen, who was released from mousesports in the aftermath of ESIC's investigation into the abuse of the coaching bug, which saw the 32-year-old receive a ban for 19.8 months in late September.

mithR joins the Finn "karrigan" Andersen-led squad in the middle of their campaign at IEM Beijing-Haidan, where mousesports have so far defeated BIG and are about to face Astralis in Group B's upper bracket semi-final for a spot in the playoffs.

mousesports now have the following team:

Netherlands Chris "chrisJ" de Jong
Estonia Robin "ropz" Kool
Denmark Finn "karrigan" Andersen
Slovakia David "frozen" Čerňanský
Lithuania Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras

Denmark Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg (coach)

definately, dexter would double karrigans kills whilst still having good strats and ideas. From what i remember when i watched Dexter's HLTV Confirmed episode, he said his dream teams would be FaZe or Mouz so everything lines up

yep I remember that and I think Mous must have seen that too lol
2020-11-14 17:31
Dexter would just copy karrigan strats. Only thing he would bring is firepower. He is not better igl.

If you remember his coaching clips on lan for North, he used to lose his cool even before the team. Not sure this is the best choice, anyways if it was a buyout, they would have rather opted for lmbt from forze

+1 very much agree with this. Though I think there's some bad blood with lmbt from him getting kicked by mouz before, so he may not have been the best option.

+1 Rejin and Hunden, both from Tricked, are banned, so Mouz gets punished but Tricked does not. Not to mention that lots of teams have retained their banned coaches as analysts. Respect to Mouz for getting rid of Rejin, but it shows how toothless ESIC is that lots of the cheaters are still employed with their teams.

How about former hardlegion team? Imo their players should be banned too as it's obvious that the whole team used information available from coach spectator bug to their advantage. No wonder Hardlegion are no more

I think it's risky from mouz, this guy has been coaching some teams, but he didn't really find the success, I'm interested in how will he do in mouz, but it's defienietly a risk from them.
