fnatic, MIBR secure Flashpoint 2 playoff spots

fnatic handled Dignitas in the Swedish derby of Group A, while MIBR took down forZe in Group B in Flashpoint 2

With resounding victories in the consolidation finals of their respective groups, fnatic and MIBR have joined BIG, MAD Lions, and Virtus.pro in the playoffs of Flashpoint 2.

Dignitas and forZe will have another chance to reach the playoffs as they will be heading to the four-team last-chance qualifier which is scheduled for Sunday, while the final consolidation final between Gen.G and OG will be played on Friday.

fnatic recorded a comprehensive victory over Dignitas

The match between the former NiP duo Adam "friberg" Friberg and Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg and the everlasting fnatic core started on Dust2, the map pick of the Swedish-Norwegian side. Dignitas looked bleak on it, however, managing just two Terrorist rounds which allowed fnatic to take a quick victory, 16-6.

Inferno followed, where fnatic had managed a 10-5 offensive half, but took a while to close things out. friberg was the reason why, as he posted the best rating on the map, 1.45, but that was good enough only for 14 rounds, while fnatic took the win.

MIBR displayed another good Nuke performance with their new lineup as they ran up 10 T-side rounds to kick off the series against forZe, which they successfully converted in the second half for a 16-9 victory.

Inferno followed, one of forZe's best maps, but Andrey "Jerry" Mekhryakov's team struggled to handle the Brazilians' CT aggression. MIBR finished the first half 10-5 up once again, with a second-round force buy pushing them across the line for a quick and comfortable 16-7.

Who them? It's entirely a new team. The ones that went through crap, became crap and self destructed, thank god.

They’re resilient and passionate. The mibr before this was just a dead team riding their contracts out.

mibr god rid of taco and fer, fallen was not even the igl when they "disbanded", and mibr also wanted fallen on the lineup

so trk looking like shit was actually fallens fault, they got rid of the old cancerous SK core and he starts putting world class numbers against top 20 teams lol sad that meyern just lost all his confidence and became a tier999 shitter

"world class numbers against top 20" lol dude that's one decent match vs a team ranked #25 mostly because of their wins in CIS T2. I agree that MIBR improved greatly but we're not exactly talking about a T1 team yet. But +1 trash fallen ruined meyern

but trk and kng have already spoken on a vlog on the leo_drk channel that what they are giving to help newbies (vsm and leo) was basically what fallen and taco taught him. They don't play as well as before, but they know a lot about the game

Ofc they have the experience and an amazing career. But at some point you should also have the honnesty to admit that you can't do it anymore and take your responsibilities instead of giving bullshit excuses when you get gangbanged by t5 european mixs every single day of the month.
2020-11-19 20:53
same thing happened with meyern you don’t go from holding your own on lan vs tier 1 to bring taco 2.0 lmao, fallen igl style was designed to help fallen fer and taco stat pad

These guys have gone through everything to live their dream of playing counter strike professionally, and they deserve no less than what they’re getting for their hard work. Even tho it all started as a mix they managed to beat a t1 team at the time (furia) against all odds. Excited to see what the future has to offer
