Valhalla go official
A trio of Polish free agents joined up with a Dutch duo to form a new team.
The new squad, which will play under the name Valhalla until they find an organization, has its core in long-time teammates Oskar "oskarish" Stenborowski, Michał "mono" Gabszewicz, and Daniel "STOMP" Płomiński, who played together under the x-kom and Illuminar banners from 2018-2020.
For the remaining two players, the Polish core looked to Dutch duo Dion "FASHR" Derksen and Thijs "rilax" Izaks, who last played for LowLandLions and previously represented Defusekids and Excellency together for the last year and a half.
"We came up to creating an European roster after we met with failure trying to find the missing puzzles in Poland," oskarish shared with HLTV.org about the creation of the roster. "I wrote to FASHR after I saw that he is looking for a team, he recommended his teammate rilax, and we came to the conclusion that it is worth to play together for some time and give it a shot."
The team has already appeared in HLTV.org's records together, having won the fourth ESEA Autumn Cash Cup over 100PG after fighting through a 100-team single elimination bracket.
The new Valhalla roster is looking for an organization to represent. "All of us are going full-time and we are ready to give everything for the game we can from our hearts," oskarish said. "I know that we have a lot to offer."
Valhalla are:
Oskar "oskarish" Stenborowski
Michał "mono" Gabszewicz
Daniel "STOMP" Płomiński
Dion "FASHR" Derksen
Thijs "rilax" Izaks
