gla1ve reclaims Astralis' IGL role
The 25-year-old player will once again be calling the shots for the Danish team as Emil "Magisk" Reif passed on the responsibilities.
Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander announced that he is back to being the in-game leader of Astralis after a 2-0 victory over Liquid in DreamHack Masters Winter that eliminated the North Americans from the competition.
The player that led Astralis to four Major titles stepped down from the IGL position earlier this year, seeing Magisk take over the reins starting with ESL One: Road to Rio in April. Under his calling, Astralis won two tournaments and had a top-four finish, but the calling responsibilities are now back on gla1ve.

"It's true that I am back as the IGL, but it's pretty easy to be the IGL when my team is killing it", gla1ve wrote on Twitter after Astralis' win over Liquid.
Despite his in-game leader duties, Magisk continued putting up good individual performances, averaging a 1.08 rating over the last six months of play. Astralis' next challenge is another lower-bracket match in DreamHack Masters Winter, where they will play the loser of G2 - FURIA for a place in the playoffs.
