OG move on in Flashpoint 2 lower bracket over BIG

Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's squad will face MIBR in the lower bracket final on Saturday.

OG defeated BIG in the lower bracket semi-finals on two maps, putting on a convincing showing on Inferno and closing the series with an overtime victory on Dust2, where the European mixture came back from a 1-7 deficit.

By eliminating the German side, OG have moved on to the lower bracket final and earned the chance to rematch MIBR, who beat Aleksib's side in the opening round of the upper bracket on Tuesday with a 2-1 victory.

valde has maintained fantastic form throughout Flashpoint 2

The veto hardly brought any surprises after the two teams decided to pick the same maps they had in all five encounters against one another in the last six months, with OG choosing Inferno to kick off the best-of-three and BIG opting for Dust2 to follow.

Having won four out of five Infernos against the German side, Aleksib's team confirmed their dominance on their map once again. OG looked comfortable on both sides, managing two separate six-round runs spearheaded by Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså while BIG struggled to adapt, as the European mixture picked up the opener 16-10.

Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz's squad looked to respond on Dust2 after getting off to a lopsided start with a 7-1 lead, but by the end of the half they were up by just one round after OG found a way through the defense. After switching sides, BIG got off better once more on the back of a forcebuy win but couldn't keep the momentum, with OG pushing the map to overtime, where they finished things off with a flawless defense.

no, i font think that they'll go back to tier 2. They both have good amounts of firepower, and good strats, thanks to TowB and Godhunden. They will fall down, yet they will rise again!

I think BIG not doing wrong and just underperfomed by k1to atleast OG outplayed BIG on mindgames , aleksib make people like xantares and syrson confused . so well , good game for both teams.
2020-12-04 22:36
why don't BIG sign woxic?

OG is looking great, TOP 5 team for me. BIG is showing some life left in them, the core of tabseN, syrsoN and XANTARES is a core that could build the best team in the world imo.
