Complexity bring in ottoNd for IEM Global Challenge

The 'Juggernaut' have found their fifth player for the last tournament of 2020.

Complexity have announced that they will field Otto "⁠ottoNd⁠" Sihvo as their fifth player in IEM Global Challenge. The Finnish AWPer joins the team on a short-term loan from c0ntact, replacing Valentin "⁠poizon⁠" Vasilev, who has been ruled out of the tournament due to medical reasons.

The Bulgarian sniper will return to action only in 2021. He underwent emergency surgery last week and will have to go under the knife again in just a few days because of an unspecified health problem.

ottoNd will play for Complexity this week

ottoNd has been in c0ntact's ranks since January, when the North American organisation completed the signing of CR4ZY's roster for a fee in excess of $1.5 million, according to reports. His immediate future with the team is subject to conjecture after c0ntact announced that they are ready to listen to individual offers for their players.

Complexity will face Astralis on Tuesday in their first match in IEM Global Challenge's Group A, which also includes Vitality and BIG. The tournament will run until Sunday and will have $500,000 on the line.

The 'Juggernaut' will field the following roster in the tournament:

nato is not an awper and guardian is not the type of player that will be very flexible with his position. Not a lot of good options in such a short time but this isn't bad.

I know Dude, but you can play a tournament also without an AWPer, especially if that AWPer never played with the team or even one of the team players.

This has alot of truth to it, but the awper is a pretty important role and it would make sense if your awper is having surgery, you should replace him with another awper. Its important to be able to get picks, early and mid round which is what the awper does. Again, what you said makes sense but this is just my opinion.

nexa and hunter joined g2 in october 2019, he probably wanted to see how contact would manage ex-crazy's roster, then quarantine hit a few months later and the number of orgs willing to pay large buyouts dropped, especially considering that most top teams in the top 20 already have star awpers .
