kassad set to join EXTREMUM - Report
The Serbian coach is set to reunite with his former teammates in a new organization.
Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović will join Aaron "AZR" Ward the rest of the ex-100 Thieves squad in EXTREMUM as coach, according to a report by 1pv.fr. The move could see five out of the six members that used to represent the North American organization reunite under a new banner.
The report regarding kassad's potential new home follows the surprising news from Monday, announcing that he parted ways with Cloud9 due to a "stylistic clash" with Alex "ALEX" McMeekin. The Serbian spent just four months with the organization, during which they played 11 series.
EXTREMUM, a Russian organization reportedly funded by private investors, has been linked with the trio of AZR, Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas, and Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai since November, with Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad joining the discussion after his abrupt departure from Norwegian squad Apeks in December.
With the four aforementioned players now set on joining EXTREMUM, and kassad joining as coach, the Russian organization would only be missing Justin "jks" Savage to complete the lineup that used to represent 100 Thieves and Renegades. As the Australian star is signed to Complexity, it remains to be seen who will be selected as the final player for EXTREMUM.
If the moves are confirmed, EXTREMUM would have the following lineup:
Aaron "AZR" Ward
Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas
Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai
Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad
