MNA unveil European lineup featuring oskarish
The Turkish organization has signed players from different European countries with a long-term goal of reaching the top 30 in the world rankings.
Nordic trio Hector "HECTOz" Jensen, Rasmus "SandeN" Sanden, and Haakon "Radifaction" Tholo have already been announced over the last two weeks, alongside the 20-year-old Romanian Raul "Blytz" Gligor who is the fifth and least-known player on the lineup.
The team will start their journey by competing in ESEA Advanced, where the organization's previous, fully-Turkish lineup, finished with a 7W-9L record in Season 35. "We are the first Turkish esports organization that has a completely foreign roster. We are here to build a legacy," MNA said in a statement to HLTV.org about the signing.
"These players are the ones that our staff has picked between around 70 possible candidates," the statement reads, with the organization noting that an adaptation process of a few months will be needed in order to get the roster to work together.
"We will certainly have an adaptation period for months and players need time to know their teammates and capabilities in this time. We will be also supporting them with two coaches, two analysts and a psychological counseling firm. " The first coach is already known, Caner "Tole" Töle who is the only member remaining from the team's previous lineup.
MNA will be a test for oskarish as an in-game leader, who was deemed surplus by AGO last year, as well as veteran player SandeN who was last seen playing alongside Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný and Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev in selectah. On the other hand, HECTOz and Radifaction will be looking to leave a good impression, after parting ways with x6tence and Secret, respectively.
