degster, Patsi on transfer list as Espada disband
The remaining three players are no longer under contract with Espada and have now joined the free agent pool.
Espada have parted ways, ending up in three players becoming free agents, Dmitry "S0tF1k" Forostyanko, Dmitriy "Dima" Bandurka and Vladislav "FinigaN" Usov, while the organization has decided to hold on to its two youngest assets, Abdul "degster" Gasanov and Robert "Patsi" Isyanov, who have been marked as transferrable.
The news was first reported by community figure Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov, which HLTV.org has been able to confirm through a source close to the team.
Espada broke into the top 30 in the world ranking during their time together, peaking at No. 27 in December, and were frequent competitors at online cups such as Nine to Five and Eden Arena Malta Vibes, one of which they won. By the end of the year they managed to win the DreamHack Open December closed qualifier and finished the main event in 5-6th place.
Much of Espada's success was fueled by rising star degster, a player featured in our One for the future series. The 19-year-old, who has been on the team's books since May 2019 and accrued a 1.23 rating during his time in the active lineup, has now become an option for teams scouring the market in search of a talented up-and-coming AWPer ahead of the coming season.
