rigoN leaves c0ntact
The 21-year-old is ready to listen to offers following his brief spell with the international team.
Rigon "rigoN" Gashi has been released by c0ntact, the Swiss player announced on Thursday. The rifler got out of his contract one month after the North American organisation made its entire CS:GO roster available for transfer as it began the process of reevaluating its options for 2021.
rigoN joined c0ntact's ranks in October 2020 on a free transfer, averaging a 1.01 rating while with the international team, who were winless in Flashpoint 2 and DreamHack Masters Winter Europe at the end of 2020.
"I will keep grinding and wait to see what the future will bring," rigoN wrote on Twitter. His departure leaves c0ntact's starting lineup with just four players, with in-game leader Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer currently in talks with ENCE, according to a report by DBLTAP. The North American organisation has a fifth player on its payroll, Georgi "SHiPZ" Grigorov, who has been benched since August.
c0ntact's roster looks as follows:
Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas
Otto "ottoNd" Sihvo
Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Lotan "Spinx" Giladi
Neil "NeiL_M" Murphy (coach)
Georgi "SHiPZ" Grigorov (inactive)
