Cloud9 confirm Xeppaa signing

The 20-year-old former Chaos player completes Cloud9's roster.

Erick "⁠Xeppaa⁠" Bach is the fifth piece of "The Colossus", the North American organization announced on Friday, filling in the spot left by the departure of Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker.

"My personal goal is to show that I can compete on a high level, especially against these top European teams", Xeppaa said in the announcement video. The signing will see him move to Europe on a long-term basis, following the example set by Ricky "⁠floppy⁠" Kemery.

Xeppaa is Cloud9's fifth player

Reports have linked Xeppaa to Cloud9 since the start of the year, with the successful negotiation allowing him to continue competing in Counter-Strike, unlike his former teammates Anthony "⁠vanity⁠" Malaspina and Nathan "⁠leaf⁠" Orf who made the move to VALORANT.

"We've given him an opportunity and I know he is going to rise to the occasion", the team's General Manager, Henry "⁠HenryG⁠" Greer added. The former commentator announced that the value of the three-year deal is $432,000, with Xeppaa set to play the entry rifle role for the team. The new Cloud9 lineup will debut at cs_summit 7 on January 25-31.
