peacemaker open to offers after MAD Lions exit
The Brazilian coach is considering assembling a team from scratch, joining an established lineup, or even becoming an assistant coach in a top team.
Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu has issued a statement to give an update on his situation following his departure from MAD Lions earlier in the month. The 32-year-old coach was released from his contract after a year-long tenure with the Danish team.
This was peacemaker's third experience with a Danish team after previously guiding Heroic across two spells between 2017 and 2019. "Since the end of 2017, when I first joined Heroic, I've been dedicating myself completely to the Danish scene," the 32-year-old wrote.
"A couple of days ago, I was informed by the management of MAD Lions that they had decided to move in a different direction for 2021 and I wasn't going to be the head coach anymore. At the end of the day, it's part of my job and I respect the decision.

"As for what comes next for me, I have been coaching professionally since 2016 in Brazil, North America and Europe, and my goal is to continue as a head coach, perhaps building a team from scratch in a new organization or joining an established one. I've also thought about being an assistant coach in one of the top teams. I'm open to discussing any opportunities."
peacemaker joined MAD Lions in December 2019 alongside the Danish players who represented Tricked. The team enjoyed success during the first half of 2020, winning Flashpoint 1 after replacing Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen with Asger "AcilioN" Larsen.
"I could feel those guys had a lot of potential," peacemaker said. "The foundation and strong fundamentals were already there, and they just needed a bit more experience, a couple of new strategies and different approaches on how to prepare for practice and official matches."
MAD Lions had middling results after winning the $1 million competition, however, and ended up selling star player Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen to Astralis in July, replacing him with Polish rifler Paweł "innocent" Mocek.
That project only lasted two months, and MAD Lions returned to a full Danish roster in October, with innocent and AcilioN being replaced by Ismail "refrezh" Ali and Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen. Rasmus "sjuush" Beck and Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen are the only players left from the original lineup after Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand left for MOUZ in January and was replaced by Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk.
MAD Lions are yet to announce a replacement for peacemaker, but they have seemingly appointed former MOUZ coach Allan "Rejin" Petersen as their Senior Counter-Strike Manager, according to his Twitter bio.
