The two players found themselves on the chopping block after a 9-12th finish at IEM Katowice 2021.

After a 10-month period of stability during which the team won ESL One Cologne 2020 Europe and was briefly ranked the #1 team in the world, Heroic have decided to make changes to their roster, benching Johannes "⁠b0RUP⁠" Borup and Nikolaj "⁠niko⁠" Kristensen.

b0RUP was a part of Heroic since September 2019

b0RUP and niko were statistically the worst performers for Heroic over the last three months, averaging a 0.90 and 1.03 rating, respectively. In that period, the team recorded a couple of underwhelming results, failing to qualify for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals and suffering early exits in IEM Global Challenge and IEM Katowice.

Heroic, who were recently acquired by Norwegian esports organization Omaken Sports, will be hoping that a fresh injection of talent will turn things around for their team, who are at risk of falling out of the top 10 in the world.

In the team's official announcement, Heroic thanked the two players for their efforts and wished them the best as they are no longer a part of the active lineup.

Heroic are now:

flusha is not one of the smartest players to ever touch the game lol. he was good for his time, and ahead of it, but like most og players he couldnt adapt to the evolution of cs throughout the years. and if u had just a bit knowledge of fluashas career, you would know that the man has 0 interest in anything that has to do with leading or calling. bubskji is locked in astralis, 2 iq suggestion, they would have to pay way more than his worth. thomas is free, talented, speaks perfectly english if they want to convert to that, he is hungry and talented aswel. he has just been on random bad line ups, but an average player like you wouldnt be able to spot that. they would 100% make profit by signing thomas even if he flops considering he is FREE, but and average person like you wouldnt be able to do that simple math. u r high on emotions and low on iq points. dont know why i waste my time on ppl like u.

So instead of working out their flaws and improve they decide to start fresh. In 2 months we'll get the typical excuses "it's still early, we are improving with this new line up" then "we have to change this and that" then "playerX and playerY get benched" then bis repetita. When will teams learn that you cant be top5 world all the time? I mean, b0RUP has been pretty bad lately, so I can understand it, but niko was good, honestly I'm surprised they removed him. I think that's a little bit of a mistake, but - b0RUP seems like a nice move. GL to Heroic and GL to niko and b0RUP in the future.

Ok just gonna say WTF?????? I wish teams would stop swapping out just cuz they have lost 1-2 tournaments and as for Heroic I have to say this is a HUGE mistake. Heroic was a pretty homogene team and still developing but meanwhile getting real good results. Have that team play together for 2-3 years and I guarentee its a certain top 1-2 consistantly. Btw I have nothing against Sjuush or Refrezh. Both good players.
