Complexity, Heroic through to DreamHack Masters Spring

Only one more spot is available in the European closed qualifier.

Complexity and Heroic have secured their berth in the $250,000 DreamHack Masters Spring main tournament after picking up back-to-back victories in the closed qualifier's upper bracket on Saturday.

The Danes completed their debut with their two new players, Ismail "refrezh" Ali and Rasmus "sjuush" Beck, in successful fashion as they beat Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov's VOYVODA in the upper quarter-finals and Cloud9 in a close two-map semi-final series to lock their spot at the main event.

Heroic passed their debut with sjuush and refrezh with flying colors

Meanwhile, Complexity survived a tough encounter with Movistar Riders in the opening round on the back of a massive Benjamin "blameF" Bremer performance before putting on a dominant showing in the deciding series against OG, who are playing the tournament with Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen as a stand-in.

K23 are the only team eliminated from the closed qualifier at the moment. Another elimination match between Nordavind and Movistar Riders is currently underway before the competition moves on to the lower bracket semi-finals and final on Sunday.

DreamHack Masters Spring is slated to take place on April 29-May 9, possibly at a studio location, depending on the development of the global situation. Four teams have qualified for the event so far, including the aforementioned duo as well as paiN and Spirit, who secured their spots by winning DreamHack Open January in Europe and North America.

Actually, i dont even know how but with nordavind at 15 rounds and with less than 20 seconds 1vs3 mopoz clutched a 1vs3 in the most ulikely of ways. Then they reached overtime and won.

Happy for Complexity and jks. Kid needs to perform at the big stage or else they'll find a replacement very soon. Lots of talents on the free agency

Complexity won't get out of groups anyway, they are really bad, and need changes. Heroic idk., but I doubt that they will go far with new lineup. Anyway GL to both teams.
