9z and Liberty will fight for their tournament lives in an elimination match on Friday.
Sharks and Imperial are through to DreamHack Open March South America upper bracket final following victories over 9z and Liberty, respectively. The two Brazilian teams will face off Thursday for a spot in the grand final of the $30,000 tournament.
Sharks, who were coming off a defeat to Paquetá in the grand final of the WESG Brazil Finals, were in control for the majority of the series and didn't let their opponents hit double-digits on either map. Raphael "exit" Lacerda was in fine form throughout the series, with Romeu "zevy" Rocco, who took the AWP from Jhonatan "jnt" Silva following his addition to the team, leading the charge on Mirage.
They have a lot of money indeed, it's a new org but I assume that they have a lot of investors. They're building one of the biggest gaming facilities in Brasil. And about hltv, they made one because it's an important tournament I guess
It's important for SA, I don't know if you follow this scene but we don't have a lot of tournaments with spots to another bigger tournaments. The winner of this event qualifies for IEM Extreme Masters Summer
It might be important for SA but hltv is focused on Big international CS but what you said does make a lot of sense, it’s a DreamHack event which Always have at Least a bit of prestige with a decent price pool and changes to go to bigger events.
