OG close in on MICHU - Report
The former Virtus.pro member is reportedly on the brink of joining the international team.
OG are close to signing free agent Michał "MICHU" Müller, according to a report from Weszło Esport. The Polish player will round out the international team's roster, replacing Issa "ISSAA" Murad, who was last week moved to the bench.
MICHU has been without a contract since leaving Envy last month. He spent a year under the North American organisation but rarely saw action, competing in only seven tournaments - most notably Flashpoint 1 and 2 - before Envy opted to withdraw from Counter-Strike.

According to Weszło Esport, MICHU has been on OG's shortlist since the end of 2020, when the team first thought about replacing Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt. No changes took place at the time, but a poor start to the 2021 season forced OG to pull the trigger and sign Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen, who took the two-time Major winner's spot.
But that lineup lasted only two tournaments. Following a failed qualification campaign for DreamHack Masters Spring and a fourth-place finish in their ESL Pro League group, ISSAA, who was already under pressure following some inconsistent showings, was moved to the bench in a mutual decision between OG and the player, according to the organisation.
MICHU could make his first appearance for OG in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown, scheduled for April 13-18. Sixteen teams will be taking part in this tournament, which has two spots in the Spring Finals up for grabs.
