Elisa Invitational Spring 2021 announced with $50,000 prize pool

The four regional Elisa Nordic Championship winners and four invited teams will be in contention at the event.

The upcoming Elisa Invitational Spring will take place online on April 15-18, with eight teams fighting for the lion's share of a $50,000 prize pool.

Four of the teams that will compete at the event earned their spots by winning the four Elisa Nordic Championships played, Tricked in Denmark, HAVU in Finland, Apeks in Norway and Young Ninjas in Sweden, while the first invite has been handed out to ENCE and three more are to be announced soon.

ENCE are the first of four invited teams to be revealed

The tournament will kick off with two four-team GSL groups, which will have the opening and winners' matches played as best-of-ones while the elimination and decider matches will be best-of-three series.

The playoffs will then be a single-elimination bracket starting in the semi-finals with the top two teams from each group and all matches including the grand final will be played to the best of three maps.

The team roster so far is:

The $50,000 prize pool will be split as follows:

1. $25,000
2. $10,000
3-4. $5,000
5-6. $1,500
7-8. $1,000

It bugs me that mini ninjas went through instead of gxr.. As for the invites, they should probably go for Ence, Dig and ex-North.

This is what a nice small tournament should look like, not too many teams, everyone starts on equal ground and fair prize distribution. GL Not like Throw Sweet Throw

I think Apeks will surprise everyone and win this tournament, they've looked great recently, they are a TOP 30 team for me.
