hades to step down from Wisla Krakow
The promising Polish AWPer will take time off from competition as he aims to regain freshness.
Olek "hades" Miskiewicz will step down from Wisla Krakow's team shortly, the Polish organisation has announced. The 21-year-old sniper will still play a few more games with the team in the ESL Polish Championship and Polish Esports League as they continue to trial suitable replacements.
"The period spent in the colors of Wisła Kraków and playing for such great fans was something amazing. Recently, however, I felt a kind of burnout, and the game was not as fun for me as before," hades said in his statement, announcing the exit from the team he was a part of for 12 months. "I am giving myself a bit of time to work on some aspects and regain freshness in order to return to the game in the near future."

Since the addition of Krzysztof "Goofy" Górski in February, Wisla Krakow have climbed from No. 133 in the ranking to the edge of top 30, currently sitting in the 31st place. The Polish side owe that rise to finishing fourth in ESEA Premier Season 36 and securing top-eight finishes in Pinnacle Cup 2021 and Snow Sweet Snow 3.
With a 1.15 rating this year, hades has been the standout performer for the team, helping them beat sides such as Sprout, FORZE, Winstrike, and SAW.
Wisla Krakow are now:
Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek
Patryk "ponczek" Wites
Grzegorz "jedqr" Jędras
Krzysztof "Goofy" Górski
Olek "hades" Miskiewicz (benched)
