Endpoint acquire mezii
Robin "robiin" Sjögren has been released from the organization.
William "mezii" Merriman has joined Endpoint's roster on a free transfer from Cloud9, the British organization has announced. The 22-year-old's arrival marks a second change in the Max "MiGHTYMAX" Heath-led roster within three days following the signing of Thomas "Thomas" Utting on Tuesday.
mezii returns to activity after a brief spell on Cloud9's bench. He and the rest of the lineup around Alex "ALEX" McMeekin were transfer-listed in late March on the back of a largely unsuccessful five-month stint with the Los Angeles-based organization, which decided to put its CS:GO division on hold.

"I am super happy to be joining Endpoint, I feel they have shown great potential for a while now with some strong performances against top teams in the most recent season of Pro League," mezii told HLTV.org. "I had several proposals, but it was a pretty easy decision to accept this offer from Endpoint, as I know this is the perfect place for me to progress even further as a player and achieve great things with a team that has strong foundations already."
The move sees the Brit return to a home team for the first time since he left Vexed in April 2020. He went on to join GamerLegion, whom he represented for four months before being acquired by Cloud9.
"I believe I have become a much more well-rounded player since leaving Vexed," mezii said with regards to the experience he has gained since he started to play with international teams. "I am not so one-dimensional as I was before, and this will only help me when fitting into this Endpoint lineup. I am extremely grateful for players like ALEX and es3tag who helped me evolve and taught me things I will take into each team I play for."
To make room for the 22-year-old, the team has decided to release robiin. In his third spell with the British organization, the Swede was a part of the active roster for over 14 months and helped the team make a name for themselves as they reached a top-30 placing late last year.
robiin's departure and mezii's addition makes Endpoint's lineup the following:
Max "MiGHTYMAX" Heath
Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel
Kia "Surreal" Man
Thomas "Thomas" Utting
William "mezii" Merriman
Ross "RossR" Rooney (coach)
