Elisa announces invites for Invitational Summer Swiss stage; map pool to feature Ancient
HAVU, SKADE, and ENCE are among the eight teams confirmed for the $100,000 tournament in June, which will introduce a new map into competition.
The eight squads invited to the Swiss stage of the Elisa Invitational Summer have been announced by the tournament organizer. Alongside the aforementioned trio, CIS sides EPG Family and forZe, as well as Endpoint, SAW, and Tricked made the cut.
The action in the Swiss stage kicks off on June 3 and will feature the new competitive map pool, where Train is replaced by Ancient. With the main Swiss stage of the event a month away, it remains to be seen if Elisa Invitational Summer will be the first tournament to incorporate Ancient in competitive play.

Elisa Invitational Summer 2021 utilizes a format similar to Spring Sweet Spring cups, with a regional stage leading into the main stage, and the event concluded with single-elimination playoffs. A partnership between Spring Sweet Spring organizers Relog Media, Elisa Esports, and FunSpark ULTI was unveiled in April, creating a $2.7M event circuit that will culminate with an Elisa Champion of Champions tournament in 2022.
