bondik, jR make return in ONYX
The Serbian squad have decided to go international with the addition of the Ukrainian duo.
ONYX have completed their lineup with the signings of Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk and Dmitriy "jR" Chervak, the organization has announced on Twitter. The duo have filled the vacant spots left after the departures of Filip "aVN" Belojica and Petar "HOLMES" Dimitrijević in early May.
bondik returns to activity after spending the last few months as a free agent following his release from Winstrike, where he had played for nearly two years before he was released from the organization at the end of 2020.
jR has been sitting on the sidelines since the beginning of 2021, as well, having been transfer-listed in HellRaisers in January to make way for a new AWPer and a change in leadership, three months before the rest of the CIS-based team disbanded.
It's unclear what role the 27-year-old will assume in the new team, but he is expected to step away from in-game leading and AWPing duties in ONYX, who currently have Aleksa "Impulse" Stankić fulfilling the role of the primary sniper and captain.
ONYX now boasts the following Serbian-Ukrainian lineup:
