Copenhagen Flames complete roster with roeJ, HooXi, Zyphon
The Danish organization sees two former players return to the fold.
Copenhagen Flames has announced the finalization of their roster rebuild, parting ways with Magnus "Nodios" Olsen and signing a trio of players, leaving them with just two members which represented the team a month ago.
After the departures of Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen and Asger "AcilioN" Larsen, Copenhagen Flames reached out to MAD Lions' benched duo Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen, bringing them back to the team they represented between 2018 and 2020. Additionally, the team signed former Astralis Talent member Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss, who slotted into the team instead of Nodios.

"I've worked with HooXi before and have always appreciated him as a player and leader," Copenhagen Flames Head of Esports Daniel Vorborg explained in a roster update. "Luckily for us; HooXi has also enjoyed working with us in the past and it was quickly evident that both parties wanted to make this work."
roeJ is added as a veteran player that will "guide and lead a lot of the young talent we’d have on the team", while Vorborg describes 17-year-old Zyphon as "one of the most gifted individual players either of us has seen in a long time". The youngster left Astralis Talent in April after being their best performer with a 1.15 rating across 23 maps played.
The roster changes will see Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard take on more anchor positions on the CT side and lurking roles on the T side, it is explained, something Nodios didn't feel comfortable doing - deciding to step down from the team instead. Finally, keeping his spot on the squad is 20-year-old AWPer Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi.
"I really want to thank Marcus "mankz" Kjeldsen, Asger "AcilioN"Larsen, and Magnus "Nodios" Olsen, who are all moving on to new lineups now. I truly do believe that they are great players and certainly good enough to be representing Copenhagen Flames. However, the circumstances did not allow it this time around. I had talks and discussions with all the players throughout the process, and they were extremely professional in their handling of some very tough situations," Vorborg concluded.
Copenhagen Flames are now:

Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen
