[VOD] Discussing NAVI, CIS RMR event on HLTV Confirmed with B1ad3

Natus Vincere's head coach Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy joins the live show on Twitch at 20:00 to talk about his team and their latest tournament.

The Ukrainian expert and veteran of the CIS scene, B1ad3, will take part in the HLTV Confirmed show on Tuesday. The former CS 1.6 player and in-game leader of FlipSid3 in CS:GO took on the coaching role in Natus Vincere in 2019 and helped the powerhouse team climb to the #1 spot in the ranking after winning IEM Katowice 2020.

What is B1ad3's approach to coaching?

The 34-year-old tactician joins the show after Natus Vincere won DreamHack Masters Spring, only to suffer a 5-6th finish at the following EPIC League CIS RMR tournament. Their latest event was plagued with controversy and issues, which will be discussed on the show in depth.

Honestly it's too late for that. The whole thing was an absolute cluster fuck that lasted for 2-3 weeks. This isn't something you can easily schedule. The best result is valve banning akuma and adjusting rmr points with the removal.
2021-06-01 16:32
The Pandora's box opened by Flashpoint should be closed. No match should be replayed ever. If Akuma was watching GOTV without delay, they should be disqualified and banned and that's it. Why Gambit should replay the RMR because of it? Why VP should earn their second place again, despite losing to Akuma? Why K23 should lose their playoffs finish despite losing to Akuma in swiss?

B1ad3 is smart guy and usually quite straight forward about everything, even negative things and his own team. If spunj won't troll much, this might be actually worth watching. I wanna know what he thinks about recent addition to T1 teams "out of nowhere" like ztr to NiP or kyojin to vitality? Isn't it better to buy someone or get proper academy team than these huge gambles (which really doesn't pay off so far at all)?

I think that Kyogin to Vitality was a gamble, but they had to try something else and also that not cost too much. Imo it's a good move when you look at where Misutaa is rn and the improvement he got dince he joined the team. The same can happen to Kyogin if they work well, because Kyogin is talented.

The fact Blade is their coach just shows Navi management doesn't know shit about CSGO, they think stats means EVERYTHING and don't actually study the game. Blade is an absolute CLOWN, no wonder why Navi looks clueless out there.

Interesting When MIBR players said that CHAOS clips were suspected everybody hated on them Now blade directly accuses AKUMA with “100% of certainty” and people just buy into NAVI discourse Hmmm (Tbh I’m not defending them, just checking on the community double standards)

Cause leaf was directly accused of cheating which he didn't, whilst these guys are accused of using information from a second screen. Have you even followed it all before commenting?

When leaf was directly accused of cheating, buddy? Gaules said that in HIS opinion leaf could be cheating but he was not sure, and fallen just said the clips were suspicious. Blade said on this live he’s 100% sure AKUMA was cheating and even said names. Who directly accused who?
2021-06-01 22:41

Sorry, I mean leaf was accused of using hacks, which he didn't, while these guys is accused of using information from another screen. My point is leaf is not the first guy to have "suspicious" clips, while this story with Akuma is totally different, since you can literally see on the cams, that at least one of them is looking on his radar in weird situations.

Okay, I also found it very suspicious on the Akuma case and I also think they were cheating, but leaf did have more fishy clips on a bo3 than most players have on months of playing that’s why I found it suspicious as well
2021-06-01 23:10

I remember like 3 clips and they weren't even close to being suspicious but whatever, I'm not going back into that discussion once again.
2021-06-01 23:11
Blade said it is his opinion. It's okay to be convinced. We all agreed that Akuma came for nowhere, had the reputation of matchfixing and got the perfect read most of the time. Sure, Navi and VP got some tendancies, but Akuma's players was next level. I was not a crappy style who caught navi or vp outguard. I was the perfect call all the time. And the MIBR case, ppl liked to laught about mibr or about the brazilian community. Honestly, leaf was fishy and we will never know what really hapened.

leaf situation was exemplary witchhunt with all these additional streams, silly clips and accusations also no one wanted to sympathize with delusional mibr fans whose team was on the decline for a year i had the same feeling about akuma but now more and more evidence is coming up which never happened in the leaf case
2021-06-01 23:44

Even I think Akuma was a case of cheating, you cannot deny Leaf's clip was a bit odd too. If you compare MIBR and Navi, both was/are struggling. Ok, Mibr was next level, but Navi's fans can be delusionnal too by not accepting the defeat. I still trust the Blade's judgement, those guys are really fishy.

A huge thanks to Mr B1ad3 for being so candid, very interesting. Cheers and best of luck in the coming tournaments, NaVi are a team that's always exciting to see in form. A note on AGO. I don't personally agree with the general sentiment. I think the point of having a zero tolerance rule is that you don't need to prove gain or intent (eg. a speeding fine). It reduces the grey area, you break the rule and you receive a penalty. D/Q makes sense to me for this rule because it keeps the penalty even for all teams regardless of their financial status etc. and with any luck it'll be sufficient to encourage teams to actually follow this basic rule so that people don't keep getting caught making silly mistakes and causing unnecessary controversy. I do agree that it's a massive shame for everyone at AGO who isn't responsible, hopefully for their sake nothing like this happens again. I'm not even quite done with the stream but it's late! Cheers again.
