Turkish superteam goes official as Eternal Fire; ISSAA joins as fifth
woxic's domestic project has been unveiled, with the AWPer creating a team with XANTARES, Buğra "Calyx" Arkın, and Ömer "imoRR" Karataş, some of the most renowned Turkish players. Completing the lineup is woxic's former teammate from his HellRaisers days - Issa "ISSAA" Murad.
The team will compete as Eternal Fire, a new, player-founded organization. The squad's plan is to communicate in Turkish, but English will be used in the short term as ISSAA takes Turkish lessons and prepares for the switch.
The Eternal Fire project has been in the works at least since June when woxic teased his return to action with a 5-man roster "ready to compete and grind in CS:GO". The players had originally looked for organizational backing but ultimately decided to create their own structure.
As XANTARES, imoRR, and ISSAA were released from BIG, Sangal, and OG, respectively, the lineup was free to link up and go official. The team will be coached by Timur "bishop" Şengül, a player for Arena Bulls in 2019, while the in-game leading duties will be taken by the oldest player on the lineup - the 26-year-old XANTARES.
