CPH Flames, Movistar Riders advance to IEM Fall closed qualifier
The two teams will join MAD Lions and Fiend who topped the first open qualifier.
The second open qualifier for IEM Fall Europe has concluded, with Copenhagen Flames and Movistar Riders winning their part of the bracket and securing spots in the closed qualifier set to begin on September 14th.
Along with MAD Lions and Fiend, the bottom three teams from the European RMR standings, currently Anonymo, fnatic, and FaZe, also have spots in the closed qualifier.

In their final three matches, Copenhagen Flames took down OPAA along with two Polish teams, AGO and Wisla Krakow, marking a difference from their run in the first qualifier, which saw them lose to AVEZ. The qualifying match didn't cause much trouble for the Danish side, taking down Wisla Krakow 2-0, with the victory showing off the team's steady improvement since adding Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen, Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, and Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss in May.
Movistar Riders also had a much better run during this second qualifier compared to the first. After losing to Wiktor "mynio" Kruk's Dolej Miodu last week, the Spanish side took down HAVU, ONYX, and cowana on their way to qualification this time. The Spanish organization recently returned to an all-Spanish lineup after an extended time with an international roster, and will be looking to make it to the LAN portion of IEM Fall come the end of September.
IEM Fall will be the final RMR event in all regions, and serves as teams' final chance to earn RMR points and qualify for the Major. The third European open qualifier will begin on September 4, with 113 teams currently signed up.
