LEGIJA steps in as interim head coach in BIG, DuDe takes leave
Dustin "DuDe" Großmann is taking a break from coaching BIG due to personal reasons, with LEGIJA set to replace him in the role in the meantime, as first reported by Dexerto and confirmed by the German organization's CGO Christian Lenz.
LEGIJA will step back into his old role in the German squad, having previously coached a different iteration of the team in 2018-2019. The 30-year-old officially returns under the wings of the BIG organization, having already been working with them behind the scenes as an assistant coach since May following his exit from Envy.
While it's unclear for how long DuDe will be out of action, he is expected to be off duty at least until the end of the final Regional Major Ranking event at IEM Fall and possibly the PGL Major Stockholm, should BIG manage to gain enough RMR points to qualify for the Major.
Before BIG take part in the final qualifying stage towards the Major, the German team are set to play in Group B of BLAST Premier Fall, taking place on September 20-22 and also featuring NIP, G2, and MIBR.
BIG's lineup for the foreseeable future will be:
Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić (interim head coach)
Dustin "DuDe" Großmann (on personal leave)
