I know it is bro, it’s just that currently the lineup has nothing to do with German cs and that’s kinda what you expect from a derby right?
2021-09-27 23:55
6 replies
i mean, depends how you look at this. i kinda agree from an esports/cs pov but just look at football. Dortmund vs. Schalke is the derby in german football, and yeah their lineups have not many germans either anymore. And it would still be a derby if there were no german players left. mouz vs. BIG is also spicy cuz most of the ppl who founded BIG left mouz back then. will be a 16:9 for mouz on Nuke btw.
2021-09-28 00:16

Yeah but you know it’s not traditional sports, those have generations of history and cs long for esport but a lot of people watching cs rn won’t know about even the time of Chris carrying ;) I gusss if it is for the players it does still count ofc
2021-09-28 00:17

yeah from a new-fan POV it probably is not a derby, from a german-cs pov it clearly is, guess the mouz players themselves don't care too much but the BIG players for sure do.

dunno, doubt that will favour anyone in particular. i mean, i'm totally biased, h2h doesn't look good, mouz got this. In the end this event is a joke with that format (bo1 shitshow), lucky mouz already is locked in almost for the major.

There's a difference in playstyle. I'm expecting teams who underestimate the Tier 3 teams to have some big problems. Vitality being one of those. On the other hand Astralis will prepare for their opponents, but they will somehow lose the game. I feel it in my guts.

Yeah GL to you too. People are acting like these are BO3 matches where the better team wins. Also it's LAN so we can expect teams like Dignitas who have LAN proven players to get further than people expect.

GODSENT for sure has a shot at even winning this, they are looking insane lately, TOP 20 team for me, but TeamOne, man for me they won't even get out of group or even win a game, like they look so trash lately in my eyes, those players are just not players that could play for a TOP 30 team or even close to this level.

Let’s see! It’s 3 Major winners in this team, years of LAN experience and I think their bootcamp made them better. At least on Nuke they‘re always good for an upset, ask FalleN and Liquid ;) If they’re lucky enough to play on Nuke or Vertigo vs the topteams BO1 it really might happen to see f0rest and friberg back at a Major, let’s pray!
