sh1ro awarded IEM Fall CIS MVP

One of his best performances since joining Gambit earn Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov the MVP medal from the Regional Major Ranking event.

Gambit's AWPer sh1ro has played an outstanding event at the final RMR tournament for the CIS region which sees him awarded with the MVP award by HLTV & Bitskins.

This is just the second MVP the 20-year-old player has secured in his career, with his previous one coming from IEM Katowice 2021, which Gambit won over Virtus.pro.

sh1ro adds a second MVP to his collection

sh1ro stood out in a number of categories at the event, topping the leaderboards for Rating (1.45), K-D (+105), KPR (0.89), DPR (0.47), KAST (77.9%), and clutches (7). His standout game was the thrashing of Entropiq, where he posted a 1.95 rating for the BO3, but his topped the scoreboard in the grand final against Natus Vincere as well with a 1.55 rating. He also stood out in terms of match-to-match consistency, finishing all 11 maps with a rating higher than 1.00.

sh1ro outperformed the two other candidates for the MVP by a significant margin. Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev was not on the same level he was at StarLadder CIS, IEM Cologne, and ESL Pro League, bringing his streak of three MVPs in a row to an end. Virtus.pro's standout at the event Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis was perhaps the closest competitor to sh1ro, but couldn't match the AWPers superb heights and consistency.

We can remove all irrelevant events: - cs_cummit 7 - no top teams - funspark ulti - no top teams - flashpoint 3 - only EU teams - epic league - only CIS teams - starladder CIS RMR - only CIS teams - iem fall - only CIS teams this leaves us with 8 tournaments, in which: 4 MVPs for s1mple 2 MVPs for ax1Le 1 MVP for hobbit 1 MVP for sh1ro Conclusions: - s1mple >>> everyone else - ax1le underrated, better against EU teams - hobbit and sh1ro farm stats on lower ranked CIS teams. - hobbit needs to rename to hobb1t, this way everyone would have 1 in their nickname.

A small correction: in the third paragraph, instead of: His standout game was the thrashing of Entropiq, where he posted a 1.95 rating for the BO3, but his topped the scoreboard in the grand final against Natus Vincere as well with a 1.55 rating. He also stood out in terms of match-to-match consistency, finishing all 11 maps with a rating higher than 1.00. it should have been: His standout game was the thrashing of Entropiq, where he posted a 1.95 rating for the BO3, but he topped the scoreboard in the grand final against Natus Vincere as well with a 1.55 rating.
