Gambit, ENCE, BIG players up for selection in Elisa Invitational Fall Fantasy*

The bracket for the event has been set and the Fantasy game is now open for action.

*Update, October 11th: FURIA was announced as one of the invited teams, but has been replaced by fnatic after the release of the article. The Swedish-British side will be added to Fantasy once their fifth player is confirmed.

The $100,000 Elisa Invitational Fall will take place from October 11-15, with 12 teams set to compete in a single-elimination bracket after four invited teams were revealed. Gambit, BIG, FURIA, and ENCE will be seeded in the quarter-finals, while eight group stage squads kick off the competition in the round-of-12.

Combining interz with the Support or IGL role has been a recipe for success

The format and bracket draw will be important for Fantasy players who will have to decide if they want to prioritize safer players from the four favorites or go for someone that will play an extra match - and have more opportunities to accrue points.

As Gambit are the overwhelming favorites for the event, getting budget pick Timofey "interz" Yakushin ($189,000) and another player from the Russian side seems like a good idea for Fantasy managers, as well as avoiding DBL PONEY and HAVU members who will cross path with the world no. 2 early.

SKADE's Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov ($203,000, 1.24 rating at IEM Fall) and Copenhagen Flames' Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard ($200,000, 1.19 rating at IEM Fall) could be a good picks from the underdog teams, but going for fairly affordable members of RMR finalist teams ENCE or FURIA will be a likely tactic for most users.

Prizes for the Elisa Invitational Fall game are:

1. Shadow Daggers | Damascus Steel (Field-Tested)
2. M4A1-S | Printstream (Field-Tested)
3. Desert Eagle | Printstream (Field-Tested)

Participants of the Fantasy game are required to abide by the Fantasy ruleset if they want to win the available prizes. Just goes to show that they haven’t grown too proud. A year ago they grinded like a 1000 of these lower tier events, winning like 99% of them. That’s what started their rising to the absolute top and now they are still humble enough to participate if invited. Very good sign. Also EZ monees for teh pl4yers

These TO's pretend to help the lower tier scene to develop but then they almost always invite some top 15 teams in the playoffs to take the money.

Which means they have to work hard if they want to win and prove themselves against good and established team not fluke win :D A little motivation cause if you not gonna try get better and beat tier 1 team and be one yourself then what's the point might aswell disband and retire. While F0rest for example he knows he ain't gonna win much still but he has love and passion for cs and scene
