The twin brothers are left looking on from the sidelines after 00NATION missed out on a PGL Major Stockholm appearance.

00NATION have moved Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles and Lucas "⁠LUCAS1⁠" Teles to the bench, the organisation announced on Thursday. The change to the roster leaves the team with four players on its starting lineup, which will presumably see Alencar "⁠trk⁠" Rossato moved from a rotational position in the six-man roster into a full-time slot.

The benching of the brothers comes in the wake of a last place finish in IEM Fall North America, in which 00NATION were unable to pick up a single map win in their group and were subsequently eliminated from contention for a spot at PGL Major Stockholm.

HEN1 and LUCAS1 have had their time on 00Nation cut short

In their time under the 00NATION banner, HEN1 and LUCAS1 have been the teams highest and third-highest rated players, averaging 1.08 and 0.97 ratings, respectively, amid lacklustre placements in all of their tournament appearances.

Before coming together under O PLANO in May, the twins were playing for different teams — the first time they had separated in nearly five years of playing together. HEN1 had been finding success as a part of FURIA, and LUCAS1 plied his trade for MIBR before the lineup's eventual exit from the organisation.

However, after spending 18 months apart, the itch to play together once again struck the pair, and they departed their respective teams and reunited under Vito "⁠kNgV-⁠" Giuseppe's leadership. Limited success since then, combined with the failure to qualify for the PGL Major Stockholm, has now prompted the team to make a change.

The remaining members of 00NATION have traveled to the organisation's headquarters in Oslo, Norway as they prepare to compete in the second IEM Winter Europe open qualifier, which will run from October 15-16 and offer two spots in the closed stage. It is currently unknown whether the Brazilian team will field a replacement for one of the twins, or if coach Raphael "⁠cogu⁠" Camargo will step in for the interim.

With the change, 00NATION's roster looks as follows:

i dislike heni after leaving but thought #147 already before. they just performed worse and didnt seem like a perfect fit.. kscerato + yurih + art were performing soooo much better before heni joining, same for vini i was a big fan of furia when they appeared out of nowhere and watched all of their matches with ablej. they had such a good team spirit and harmony, synergy on the server and obviously teams werent used to their fresh style of playing but idk with heni joining some players were forced to play differently, obviously they changed a lot of things all the time, things werent really working out or working well. there were some moments when heni played like a godly 1v5 there were some times when they had a good match and good harmony on a bombsite together but overall it was not as good as it used to be before and furia was way more readable in the old furia it felt like almost everyone could have done everything.. art, kscerato, yurih were picking up the awps and were ALL freaking good with it and lightning fast (like coldzera in SK) but since heni joining they stopped to 2nd awp and gave that to art... it was so much better for the team to have multiple ways to awp and be not readable all the time. especiall for a team like furia who needs those things in their games. if you have 1 awper they will antistrat him. if you change your awp all the time they cant do that ever since then the awp of both kscerato and yurih got veryyy rusty sadly.. just like coldzera
