Bad News Bears add Bwills
The lineup has gone full American.
Following the departure of Jonathan "Jonji" Carey, Bad News Bears have announced the addition of Brendan "Bwills" Williams, who played with Triumph since November 2020. The move comes after a 7th-8th place finish at IEM Fall North America, which saw them only defeat ATK and Extra Salt in Group A.

Shortly after a disappointing group stage result at DreamHack September North America, Jonji announced that he would be stepping down from Bad News Bears as a result of poor team performances and internal troubles. The team used coach Nathan "madcow" Retterath as a stand-in and were prepared to field the 26-year-old at IEM Fall, for which they had already qualified, due to the Valve roster lock.
However, to give his former team a better chance to qualify for the Major, Jonji returned to the lineup for the duration of IEM Fall, at which they dealt a mortal wound to the Extra Salt side in their campaign to PGL Stockholm.
Bwills comes into Bad News Bears after 11 months of playing under the Triumph tag, where he played alongside over a dozen different players including Paytyn "junior" Johnson, Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman, Austin "Cooper" Abadir, and David "cynic" Polster.
