arki returns to SAW roster
It took the Portuguese squad two months to undo their latest roster change.
"The team decided to return to the initial base structure, after considering that this change would be important for their progression," SAW explained the change in the official announcement. This change will also see Renato "stadodo" Gonçalves take back the main AWP role, which was story's responsibility for the last two months.
story's addition didn't bring the desired effect to the team, as they tumbled down the ranks and the youngster failed to deliver individiually. Over 42 maps played for SAW, story averaged a 0.93 rating and 0.85 impact.
As arki rejoins the team, SAW's average age rises to 28.1 years, making them one of the oldest squads in the scene. The hope of Portugal is currently ranked 52nd in the world and will be trying to improve that standing as they take on ESEA Premier S39 and REPUBLEAGUE TIPOS S2 playoffs in the upcoming period.
SAW are now:
Ricardo "AIm" Almeida (coach)
João "story" Vieira (benched)
