FalleN and coldzera in talks to build Brazilian roster - Report
The duo who won two Major titles together may reunite after spending time apart on separate teams.
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Marcelo "coldzera" David are in discussions to reunite and form a new Brazilian roster, according to a report from Jaxon. The pair have been actively searching for an organization to build the new project, where they would be the core duo.
Jaxon's report comes in the wake of a report from Rush B Media on Sunday that indicated FalleN and Jake "Stewie2K" Yip are both exploring possible options outside of Liquid heading into 2022, although no formal talks are underway as of yet.
The two legendary Brazilian names previously plied their trade for Luminosity, SK, and MIBR from 2015 to 2019, with 2016 and 2017 being the most dominant period as they reached the status of being the No. 1 team in the world at various points in time for a total of 15 months. During that span, the team won two Major titles at MLG Columbus 2016 and ESL One Cologne 2016, where coldzera was crowned the MVP.
Under SK with João "felps" Vasconcellos, the team went on to win eight more trophies, but the results that followed in ensuing years were dismal, leading to coldzera eventually taking his leave from the team in 2019 to join FaZe.
According to the report, the pair of Brazilian players have eyed Complexity as a possible destination for their project, with coldzera recently stepping in for the team to help them close out the season on a temporary contract that expired on Monday. As such, the pair are free to explore options with other organizations as well.
In a statement to Jaxon, Complexity confirmed that they are evaluating their options for the future, but did not respond to the rumors in the report.
