MOUZ NXT secure second WePlay Academy title

The young squad led by Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek claimed back-to-back academy titles.

MOUZ NXT have been crowned champions of WePlay Academy League Season 2 after defeating NAVI Junior 2-0 in the grand finals of the event. The young European squad came into the LAN finals as favorites after finishing top of their group back in October and did not disappoint. During their victorious campaign MOUZ NXT registered a win over Young Ninjas and two over NAVI Junior, only dropping one map across their upper-bracket run.

Despite several incredible performances from Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov which earned him a 1.30 rating across ten maps, Dorian "xertioN" Berman topped the charts at the end of the event with an incredible 1.32 overall rating over the course of the LAN finals in Kyiv.

MOUZ NXT only conceded one map across the whole event

The LAN finals were kickstarted by the previous season's finalists Young Ninjas set against the BIG Academy and it was not a pretty one. The young Germans only registered eleven rounds over the course of the 0-2 series as they were quickly sent to the lower bracket by the Swedes. The Ninjas, however, would not last long in the upper bracket, as they faced a MOUZ NXT in red-hot form following their 2-1 defeat of NAVI Junior on the second match of the event. Young Ninjas conceded a competitive Nuke before being dismantled 1-16 on Ancient. The Swedes were sent to the lower bracket while MOUZ NXT secured a spot in the grand finals of the event.

The nightmares for BIG Academy weren't over as they were matched against future finalists NAVI Junior in the lower bracket and were sent home in an even quicker fashion as they only scraped a total of eight rounds across the series. The victorious CIS squad then found itself facing down the barrel of elimination in the consolidation final after going 0-1 down against Young Ninjas before stunning the Swedes on Mirage and Inferno, booking themselves a ticket to the grand finals.

m0NESY was a joy to spectate the whole tournament

The last game saw the two best teams of the tournament face off against each other as MOUZ NXT took on NAVI Junior. The Europeans' rock-solid CT sides on Dust2 perfectly set the scene for what was to come as NAVI Junior were never able to create a lead on the map, losing 11-16. Vertigo was no different despite m0NESY's best efforts, the CIS squad failed to consistently challenge MOUZ NXT, conceding the map 11-16 and with it the finals 0-2.

 MOUZ NXT K - D +/- ADR Rating 2.0

acoR is the first to go, imo. Bymas needs to get more consistent. He *can* play well, but frequently doesn't. i'm still undecided about dexter.

They still got the second place and the score wasnt that far. Its actually the best NaVi Jr achievement atm. So somehow flamie make them in the finals. Last time they were at least close to be that good was when b1t was still here

I honestly want this MOUZ nxt stick for another year and compete more on higher level LAN. I really want to see how they are doing. Because they might dominating the academy tournament, but they always fall off on semifinal at online tournament like pinnacle cup/Malta vibes. It means they're still struggle a bit on tier 2. But their future is bright. GL further mouz nxt

Replace after replace after replace wont help for NaVi. You need to be proud of a second place as well. That means they are not bad. Try to improve as much as they can with this lineup (can take months) and then think of replacing someone
