Astralis sign LOMME as analyst
The former Heroic coach and ENCE analyst joins Astralis' support staff as part of an "upgrade to the performance organization around the team."
The newest addition comes as part of a large overhaul of the CS:GO roster and staff, which previously saw Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and Benjamin "blameF" Bremer added to the lineup in place of Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and Emil "Magisk" Reif, while Alexander "ave" Holdt took over from Danny "zonic" Sørensen as the new head coach.
LOMME and ave are no strangers to one another, having worked together in a different relationship; as player and coach, respectively, in North Academy for five months in 2017. The new analyst also briefly coached blameF in Heroic in 2019.
"Getting signed by Astralis is what almost every Dane involved in CS dreams of, and I am super excited to be here," LOMME said in a statement to Astralis. "It will be fantastic to work alongside so many talented players and staff, most of whom I have worked with previously at different times in my career."
"I think I'll be able to support ave with a lot of tactical input and preparations ahead of games, and I’m looking very much forward to shaping the 'new' Astralis with him."
