kennyS to step in for G2 at IEM Winter as nexa faces visa issues
According to the organization, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković is set to return to the roster as soon as his issues are resolved.
Visa issues have ruled out 24-year-old Serbian in-game leader nexa from IEM Winter, the $250,000 event which is supposed to take place on LAN on December 2-12. With nexa unable to travel, G2 have opted to utilize the services of Kenny "kennyS" Schrub who has been on the bench since March.
In the announcement, G2 noted that the French player will be their "stand-in AWPer", taking the burden of the Big Green off of François "AmaNEk" Delaunay's back. The organization also explained that nexa "will return to his position in the team" as soon as his visa issues are resolved.
G2 have one more event to play before the end of the year, the BLAST Premier World Final, which is also set to take place on LAN. It is currently unknown whether nexa will be able to participate in that event.
G2 will use the following roster at IEM Winter:
Jan "Swani" Müller (coach)
