Liquid's 2022 roster seems to be taking shape with reports now connecting Nick "⁠nitr0⁠" Cannella, Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon, and Vinicius "⁠VINI⁠" Figueiredo to the American organization.

nitr0's return to Counter-Strike and Liquid is "close to a done deal," 1pv.fr reports, following up on information initially brought to light by Upcomer. The 26-year-old, who won nine international LANs and represented the organization for five years, is set to become a key piece of Liquid's new lineup which will be built around Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski.

Regarding Liquid's current lineup, none of Keith "⁠NAF⁠" Markovic, Michael "⁠Grim⁠" Wince, Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip, and Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo are likely to remain a part of the organization, with the latter two already reported to be evaluating their options by Rush B.

Forming Liquid's new team alongside EliGE and nitr0 should be shox, who has been strongly linked to Liquid and is expected to join the team after officially parting ways with Vitality at the end of the year. I am not sure about the certainty of the future of the boys to begin with tbh, Jkaem, Azr and Bntet do play esportal together everyday and stream it but Gratata and Liazz have been kinda absent. Besides, I think JKS would be the first one to get back with then before NAF does. Let's see how things do proceed in the future

why? I was teammates with NAF in CounterStrike:Source and would literally have to beg him to continue to play our matches the remaining of the season. Now he's playing t1 cs in CS:GO.... The dude has no drive whatsoever and really isn't that good of a player. I was way ahead of him in skill back then and still am. Dude's a little whiney kid also. I played on a team with him and his older brother "TrickSystems" who no longer plays FPS shooters as far as I know. You don't want someone on your team like NAF trust me.

Idk why furia wants to fuck their entire system up when all they need is a decent experienced awper. Having Elige on this team after all the shit they went through is not going to do them sny favors mark my words. It seems to me and to his soon to be former teammates, that he is really hard to work with. Maybe he'll take calls from nitro, so I hope for the sake of liquid, but he is imo too much of a loose cannon to be kept and rebuilding around him outta all people isn't ideal. I imagine they did so because the rest of the team is leaving and he is the only one staying with the org.

Whether you like Elige or not or whether you think hes toxic or not, the truth is he's still one of NA's best talents. I think you can really only argue NAF might be better as an individual player (maybe Twistzz or Brehze too). The rest of these guys though.. I just don't see the firepower. Elige is your best player so you have to build around him obv, but he's also a massive diva so you have to accommodate that as much as possible when building the new team.
