BLAST Premier World Final schedule revealed

Natus Vincere and Liquid will kick off the final event of the year on December 14.

BLAST has revealed the first match-ups and the full calendar for the final top-flight event of the year, BLAST Premier World Final, which is set to take place on December 14-19 in a studio environment in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Eight elite squads, seven of which are in the top 10 in the world ranking, will clash at the million-dollar event, with teams such as Liquid and Vitality all but confirmed to be playing their last event with the current iteration of their rosters.

NAVI recently won the BLAST Fall Final in Copenhagen

The top contender in Denmark will be Natus Vincere, who recently won the PGL Major in Stockholm and followed it up at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen at the BLAST Premier Fall Final.

Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and company will be the ones to kick off proceedings at the BLAST Premier World Final against Liquid, followed by Gambit and Heroic closing out the opening day on December 14.

The second set of opening matches in the double-elimination bracket will be G2 vs. NIP and Vitality vs. Astralis on December 15, followed by the first lower bracket match which will be played that same day.

From there on out the best-of-three bracket will go on until Sunday, December 19, when the consolidation final at 14:30 will give way to the grand final at 18:30 , from which one team will emerge champion for the last time before this year's top tier competition comes to a close.

Aleksib is a good player but its not like he is great IGL. Pronax, Fallen, gla1ve, zeus, dosia, chrisj, etc, were all better. Hell, even niko IGLs better than prime aleksib and put up insane numbers. Aleksib wont perform like he did in ENCE, wake up

You got it backwards. He is not a great fragging player but he can actually micromanage and read plays. The thing is not many pro players like to be micromanaged. They want a general idea of the strat.

So, how would you provide the team from the upper bracket an advantage? Maybe in map veto?
2021-12-07 15:14
5 replies
How is it an advantage for the upper bracket team? They have to prep for two teams unknowing who goes through, meanwhile the lower bracket team already know who they will face should they go through. Not to mention that its arguably an advantage getting to play one bo3 before as a warmup and to get into your a-game. Any more than that surely could be draining and may become a disadvantage.

Nice one xD Good points!

Answer the question. What do you think could be a fitting advantage for an upper-bracket's flawless streak.

may be put some % money of prize pool to upper bracket final winner ?
2021-12-07 16:44
I actually like the idea of getting an advantage in map veto. It should be a pretty big advantage as well, maybe picking the first two maps and the third being the one left over, making it really challenging for the team coming from the lower bracket. So in the final it would be: 1. Team A bans one map. 2. Team B bans one map 3. Team A picks one map. 4. Team B bans one map 5. Team A picks one map. 6. Team B bans one map. 7. Map will be leftover in case of a decider. OR 1. Team A bans one map. 2. Team B bans one map 3. Team A bans one map. 4. Team B bans one map 5. Team A picks map one. 6. Team A picks map two. 7. Map will be leftover in case of a decider.

we can have crowds in Denmark we just had it at the fall final its just blast decision to not have it prob because of lack of time between fall final and global final
2021-12-08 00:18
As per s1mple, no crowd ha snothing to do with restrictions, but with the fact thag Blast simply couldn't book and arena for the event. This even was planed to take place in middle East, but something didn't went well and Blast didn't have arena freed by that time

Why shocking? NiP doing well from match to match they are better and better. Liquid - still no pressure, they playing their own game, they can play more risky, they are so dangerous for each team.
